Guwahati, Assam, 19th of September, 2025 : Renowned singer and composer Zubeen Garg has passed away, leaving behind a remarkable legacy in Indian music. His soulful hit Ya Ali from the film Gangster and countless Assamese classics, Garg was celebrated not only in Assam but across the country for his versatility as a playback singer, composer, and actor. He was 52 years old.According to sources On Friday afternoon, he died in Singapore, where he went as a Cultural Brand Ambassador for the North East India Festival, organized by the High Commission of India.

Along with other parts of the country, he was very popular among the people of Tripura. His legacy will continue to inspire music lovers.
