Agartala, Tripura, 11th of March 2025 : With the initiative of Lipika Dasgupta Memorial School committee foundation day celebration programme has been conducted here in East Gakulnagar, Bishalgarh under Sepahijala District on Tuesday (11th March, 2025). In the presence of distinguished dignitaries Hon’ble Chief Minister Prof Dr Manik Saha has Inaugurated ceremony by lighting the lamp.

Addressing the foundation day celebration ceremony of Lipika Dasgupta Memorial School, Hon’ble Chief Minister Prof Dr Manik Saha said that Students who are truly educated will become of the country in the future. Therefore, there is no alternative to education. The Chief Minister said that the National Education Policy introduced under the guidance of the Prime Minister has brought about radical changes in the education sector of the State. In addition, the state government has launched many programs including Super 30 Project, Chief Minister’s Merit Award for the children of the Defence Department,

“Talent Search Program, various vocational education through the School Education Department, Smart Classes, establishment of English medium schools in various places, Vande Tripura Channel, PM-Janaman Project, distribution of free bicycles among girl students. The Chief Minister said, keeping in mind our heritage and tradition, the addition of Kokborok language in the curriculum of Lipika Dasgupta Memorial School, along with English and Bengali, will enable students to learn all three languages and strengthen the harmony between the nations and tribes.”, Chief Minister added.

Lipika Dasgupta Memorial School Trustee Dr. Gaurav Dasgupta delivered the welcome speech at the event. Among the distinguished participants there were Hon’ble Forest, Science & Technology Minister Animesh Debbarma, MLA Antara Sarkar Deb, MLA Sushanta Deb, Lipika Dasgupta Memorial School MD Dr. Alekhya Dasgupta, Lipika Dasgupta Memorial School MD Dr. Alekhya Dasgup ta delivered the vote of thanks at the event.
