Amarpur, Tripura, 31st of July 2025 : Due to constant disorder in the management of the Anganwadi centre located at Bhakta Mohan Para in Haripur VC under Ampinagar RD block in Gomati Tripura villagers are in wrath.
As per the report, the Anganwadi centre madam Suchitra Debbarma does not come to her centre regularly nor the mid-day-meal is serving to the local kids. Avoiding the departmental centre managing roles she is running the centre as she likes. After receiving the information from locals when reporter arrived in that Anganwadi centre at about 9-30 am there were no children, no teacher, no cook. The centre was totally empty; the centre door has been locked. Small village children are not availing pre-primary education as well as nutritious food provided by Ampinagar ICDS authority. For the mismanagement of this madam local guardians does not get inspiration to send their kids to this centre.
A villager said, “Suchitra Debbarma, the madam of this Anganwadi centre often remains absent. If she is absent then the cook is also not going to the centre and as a consequence the local children are depriving to avail the provisioned amenities provided by the ICDS authority for the poor children. For not having a healthy centre management local guardians have become dissatisfied and seeking an appropriate solution of this negligence.” To generate a smooth and healthy centre management local villagers have drawn the attention of the concerned higher authority and demanded immediate initiative to solve this mismanagement of this Anganwadi centre.
