Guwahati, Assam, 28th of October, 2026 : Lokapriya Gopinath Bardoloi International Airport (LGBIA), Guwahati, managed by Adani Airport Holdings Limited, today marked a significant milestone with the commencement of the inaugural direct flight to Bangkok.
LGBIA is currently connected to 5 international and 24 domestic destinations. The new Terminal 2 (T2), inspired by the Bamboo, has been named among the Prix Versailles World’s Most Beautiful Airports List 2026.
IndiGo flight 6E 1085 will connect Guwahati to Bangkok, opening a direct gateway between Northeast India and Thailand, and boosting tourism, trade and cultural exchange.
The inaugural flight is scheduled to depart from Guwahati at 18:15 hrs and arrive in Bangkok at 22:45 hrs (local time). The return flight 6E 1086 from Bangkok will arrive in Guwahati at 10:25 hrs.
