Dharmanagar, Tripura, 20th of February, 2026 : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to organize its Yuva Shankhnath Rally in Dharmanagar of North Tripura district on March 3. The new date for the rally was announced by district leaders during a press conference held at the party office in Dharmanagar on Friday.
Among those present at the press meet were District BJP President Kajal Das, District Secretary Haran Chandra Das, and other party leaders. District President Kajal Das stated that the programme was originally scheduled to be held on February 17 at the BBI School ground in Dharmanagar. However, as the CBSE Board examinations commenced on the same day, the event was postponed in the interest of the students.Subsequently, following the advice of Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha, March 3 was finalized as the new date for the rally.Party sources informed that the rally, to be held at the BBI School ground, will be attended by the Chief Minister, State BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharjee, along with other senior state and district leaders.According to party leaders, the Yuva Shankhnath Rally is being organized with the objective of highlighting developmental initiatives in North Tripura district, encouraging active participation of youth, and further strengthening the organization. Youths and members of the general public from different parts of the district have been urged to participate in large numbers.
