Agartala, 27th of December 2023 : With the jointly initiative of CUTS International U.S Consulate and Agartala Press Club One Day Media Workshop organized at Agartala Press Club on Wednesday (27th December, 2023). Explore rich collection, Latest and Breaking News collection, Information-rich news collection, methods of spotting fake news and fake news are also trained today. In news gathering, skills in information literacy including detection of disinformation, avoiding non-cooperation in news gathering and publishing constructive information using modern technology are also imparted. “Success has also come through such workshops. The main objective of organizing such workshops in Agartala is to improve skills in media literature.”, said Sucharita Bhattacharjee trainer of CUTS International U.S. Consulate. Jayanta Bhattacharjee, President of Agartala Press Club said, fake information sometimes puts us in trouble. The provision of false information in the daily work of journalists often has a serious impact on the society. This kind of workshop is very important to keep ourselves. On behalf of Agartala Press Club, Abhishek Dey Secretary of Agartala Press Club thanked the journalists and photojournalists for participating in the workshop.
