Mega Blood Donation Camp Organized By TCS Officers’ Association.

Agartala, 16th of June, 2024 : With the initiative of Tripura Civil Service Association mega blood donation camp has been conducted here in TCS officers’ Association Complex, Kadamtala, Agartala on Sunday (16th June, 2024). The Blood Donation programme was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha and other dignitaries.

Aiming to fulfill the crisis of blood in Tripura blood donation camps are going on across the state to meet the shortage of blood. As a part of that, blood donation camps are being organized by Government and Non-Government organizations. As a part of this, the Tripura Civil Service Association has organized blood donation camp today.

“Blood donation voluntarily has now become a public movement in the state. People of Tripura, various organizations, clubs, organizations are coming forward to donate blood in the mood of the festival at the call of the state government. A beautiful mentality towards blood donation throughout the state is developing.”,  Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said at the inaugurating the blood donation camp in the initiative of the TCS officers’ Association. On the occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha also added that blood donation is a great donation. TCS officers constantly work as the main part of the state administrative infrastructure. TCS officers have an important role in delivering various public welfare projects to the State and the Central Government.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister thanked the TCS officers’ Association’s mega blood donation camp, saying that through blood donation, the consciousness of the society was expressed in the society. A person can save the life of four patients with his donated blood. The way the blood donation festival is being organized in the state will solve blood problems in the state. However, it is necessary to take care of blood demand and supply. The Chief Minister also added that the present government of the state has priority to the people of the state to deliver better health services to the people of the state.

Asim Saha, General Secretary of TCS Officers’ Association delivered the welcome speech on the occasion. Kiran Gitte, Secretary of Health & Family Welfare Department also spoke on the occasion. Hon’ble Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) Dipak Majumder, DM Dr. Bishal Kumar, TIDC Chairman Nabadal Banik, senior officials and many other dignitaries were present in the event.
