Agartala, Tripura, 9th of August, 2026 : Former MLA and veteran CPI(M) leader Gouri Bhattacharjee was passed away on Saturday (8th August, 2026).
Former MLA and veteran CPI(M) Gouri Bhattacharjee passed away at the age of 92. She had been suffering from age-related health complications.
Hon’ble Food, Transport and Tourism minister Sushanta Chowdhury, Hon’ble Industries & Commerce, OBC Welfare Minister Santana Chakma as well as officers, MLAs, and employees of the Tripura Legislative Assembly also paid their last homage to former MLA Gouri Bhattacharjee at secretariat.
