Minority Tribes Organized Joint Meeting.

Ampi, Tripura, 10th of November 2024 : The minority tribes of Tripura have unitedly raised their voice over different kinds of major constitutional deprivation. On this regard the 1st joint meeting of the minority Tribes of Tripura has been conducted here at Darchawi village in Kumarghat, Unakoti district. On this occasion all minority indigenous tribe social administrators have assembled here in the programme venue to take participation in this crucial meeting. Targeting to create more unification and fraternity amidst the minority indigenous tribes living in Tripura the meeting was most significant. The main purpose of the meeting was to bring good cooperation and understanding amongst all minor indigenous tribes and to form a common platform for the tribes so that they may interexchange over different kinds of social issues like constitutional fundamental rights in politics, religious faith, social prosperity, heretical issue, political contribution as well as democratic legal provision rights of constitution for all minority tribes. The meeting has focussed over their common similarities as language, culture, costume, religion faith and ethnic identity including their deprivation in administration for which they are neglected from government amenities. The tribe leaders have highlighted over the deprivation of minority representative in state and TTAADC administration which is a great hindrance for their social prosperity. Aiming to generate awareness over the fundamental political rights of the minority tribes which is essential to brings development reaching even remote part of the unreached people living in remote villages of the state minority tribe leaders have emphasized over inclusion of their representatives in administration.

The representative participants from different indigenous tribes or Samajpati from Kaipeng, Molsom ,Darlong, Ranglong, Hrangkhawl, Chorei ,Bongcher Korbong, and Saihmar tribes shared their views and thoughts and pledge to work together socially and politically for the cause of protecting & preserving their existence, heritage, culture, costume, identity as well as political contribution in administration. This programme was led by Mr. Reuben Ranglong convenor/samajpati of the Ranglong tribe & Mr. Tinkhuma Darlong was co-convenor.
