Sonamura, Tripura, 10th of August 2025 : Mother killed her five-month-old baby daughter at Ram Pad Para, ADC Village under Sonamura Police Station on Sunday (10th August, 2025).
According to sources Today, at approximately 5 am, Amit Debbarma’s wife, Suchitra Debbarma, killed her five-month-old daughter, Rimi Debbarma of Ram Pad Para ADC Village, by smothering her with a pillow in her house and committing this heinous crime at the instigation of another person. Sonamura Police Station arrested this woman.
According to sources a murder case has been registered against them at Sonamura Police Station regarding this incident, the plaintiff of which is the deceased child’s grandfather, Nani Debbarma. The Sonamura Police Station has started an investigation into this and is investigating who instigated this incident and will identify them and bring them to justice, Officer In-Charge of the Sonamura Police Station Tapas Das gave details about this today.
A person has been arrested in connection with the killed of a five-month-old baby in Ram Pad Para ADC Village tonight. His name is Nilmani Debbarma, (25), and he is accused of inciting the child’s mother to commit this crime. He will be sent to the High Court.
