Agartala, Tripura, 5th of May, 2026 : Hon’ble Mp and Former Chief Minister of Tripura Biplab Kumar Deb arrived in Tripura who served as election co-in-charge for West Bengal. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) supporters a grand welcome at Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport in Agartala today (5th May, 2026).
Interacted with media Mp and Former Chief Minister of Tripura Biplab Kumar Deb said that West Bengal’s citizens have long been in search of improved governance, as prolonged periods under the Left Front and the Trinamool Congress have had a negative impact on public life.
Later, Biplab Kumar Deb visited the Tripura Sundari Temple in Udaipur for prayers today. He was accompanied by Hon’ble Transport, Tourism, Food Minister Sushanta Chowdhury and and many others remained present in the event.
