Mumbai, Maharashtra, 17th of March 2026 : Mrs. Nita M. Ambani received the prestigious Humanitarian Award 2025 by the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences in Bhubaneshwar, Odisha.

The honour was presented to her by Prof. Mohan Munasinghe, Nobel Laureate from Sri Lanka, and Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KISS, KIIT & KIMS, in recognition of her outstanding humanitarian initiatives and her significant contributions to social development, particularly in education, sports, healthcare, rural transformation, art and culture, and women’s empowerment through the Reliance Foundation. The ceremony was attended by 40,000 tribal students who warmly welcomed Mrs Ambani with their traditional dances and presentations.
