Mukhyamantri Samipeshu 72nd Edition – Weekly Public Interaction Programme Of Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha.

Agartala, Tripura, 17th of September, 2026 : Mukhyamantri Samipeshu programme the weekly public interaction programme of Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha. The Chief Minister interacted with the common people about their issues and difficulties.

As the part, the Chief Minister’s weekly programme “72nd episode of  Mukhyamantri Samipeshu’ on Wednesday (16th September, 2026), people of different profession in the State attended the programme. They spoke with the Chief Minister regarding their problems seeking assistance on various aspects such as medical treatment, financial assistant, education etc. Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha patiently listened to each of them and directed officials and Secretaries of concerned departments to take the necessary initiatives.

Like other days today also the chief minister, in his official residence, listened to the grievances and complaints of people coming from different corners of the state. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha addressed the grievances of people from different parts of Tripura district during the 71st edition of the Mukhyamantri Samipeshu programme. The Chief Minister interacted with beneficiaries from the War Room of TIFT, Agartala, Tripura.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha interacted directly with people from across the state during the 72nd edition of the Mukhyamantri Samipeshu programme, reaffirming the government’s commitment to addressing public grievances with compassion and prompt action.

Held at the Chief Minister’s official residence, the programme provided a platform for citizens to raise issues related to healthcare, financial assistance and other concerns.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said the state government making every possible effort for the welfare of the people and extending various forms of assistance to those in need.

Speaking at the 72nd episode of ‘Mukhyamantri Samipeshu’ at his official residence, Dr Saha said the state’s healthcare infrastructure and medical services had undergone significant transformation, resulting in a decline in the number of patients being referred outside Tripura for treatment.

He said people were also benefiting from healthcare assistance under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) and the Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana.

During the programme, several people approached the Chief Minister seeking assistance for the treatment of family members suffering from serious and complex illnesses.

Ujjala Biswas (Sarkar) from Shibnagar in Bishalgarh subdivision sought assistance for the treatment of her daughter’s complicated leg condition.

Dr Saha informed her that advanced treatment could be facilitated in Tripura through telemedicine consultation with AIIMS, New Delhi, and assured her of necessary assistance.

Shankar Saha from Shibnagar, Agartala, sought help for his daughter’s treatment, while Narayan Banik from Badarghat sought assistance for his wife’s kidney-related treatment. Subal Saha from Town Bardowali also approached the Chief Minister seeking treatment assistance for his wife’s serious illness.

Dr Saha heard their grievances and directed the concerned officials to make arrangements for appropriate treatment and extend necessary assistance.

Others who sought medical support included Chandrakumar Das from Ramnagar, Subal Mitra from Badharghat, Shanta Das from Banshbangan, Abdul Barek Chowdhury from Nandanagar and Bakul Rani Das from Amtali. They sought assistance for the treatment of their children, spouses or other family members suffering from serious illnesses, including kidney-related ailments.

The Chief Minister also handed over financial assistance from the State Disaster Response Fund to the wives of Subhash Malakar of South Narayanpur and Sanjit Das of Badharghat, who died in natural disasters.

Among those present at the programme were Chief Minister’s Secretary Kiran Gitte, Health Department Director Dr Debashree Debbarma, GB Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Bidhan Goswami, IGM Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Nirmal Sarkar, Atal Bihari Vajpayee Regional Cancer Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Shiromoni Debbarma, and other senior officials.
