Agartala, Tripura, 12th of January, 2025 : With the initiative of Ramakrishna Mission School commemorated the National Youth Day at school premises, Viveknagar, Agartala on Sunday (12th January, 2025). In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial Lamp.

The National Youth Day or Rashtriya Yuva Divas is celebrated on 12th January every year in commemoration of the great philosopher, spiritual leader and thinker Swami Vivekananda, whose unwavering belief in potential of youth continues to resonate deeply with young citizens of the country. His inspiring life and empowering message urge the youth to nurture their dreams, unleash their energies, and shape a future worthy of his envisioned ideals.
Addressing the celebration ceremony of National Youth Day Hon’ble Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu said that Swami Vivekananda was a philosopher, thinker and social reformer. Swami Vivekananda is still an inspiration to the Indian youth. The youth should be aware of current events and contribute to social welfare through selfless service. The youth plays an important role in shaping the future of the nation. The Governor urged the youth to maintain the flow of Indian values, culture and traditions. Governor presented the prizes to the winners of the inter-school competition.

Swami Shukadevananda Maharaj delivered the welcome address at the event. Amidst the other distinguished dignitaries there were Chairperson of Tripura Human Rights Commission Justice S.C. Das, Director of the Skill Development Department, Sajjad P and many others dignitaries were remained present in the celebration ceremony. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Vice Principal of Ramakrishna Mission School Budhirupananda Maharaj.
