Agartala, Tripura, 21st of November, 2025 : Tripura is set to celebrate NCC Day 2025 on 23rd November 2025, marked by a series of large-scale public events aimed at promoting fitness, discipline, and civic responsibility. As part of the celebrations, a Cyclothon and Walkathon will be organised in Agartala, featuring enthusiastic participation from NCC cadets, alumni, youth organizations, and members of civil society.
The programme will be graced by the presence of Hon’ble Minister of Sports, Government of Tripura, Mr. Tinku Roy, who will attend the occasion as the Chief Guest and inaugurate the day’s events. His participation adds great encouragement to the young cadets and reinforces the State Government’s commitment to youth empowerment, sports culture, and national service.
The celebrations will begin with the flag-off at 8:00 AM from Ujjayanta Palace, one of Agartala’s most iconic landmarks. The route for both the cyclothon and walkathon is as follows:
Route : Ujjayanta Palace → Rabindra Bhavan → IGM Hospital → Kaman Chowhumuni → Old Motor Stand → 13 Tripura Unit Headquarters
This fitness-focused initiative aims to spread awareness about physical well-being, unity, and community participation while showcasing the discipline, dedication, and leadership qualities of NCC cadets. Participants from various educational institutions across Tripura, along with the Tripura NCC Alumni Association and officers of 13 Tripura Battalion NCC, will take part in the event. Requested to gather at Ujjayanta Palace by 7:45 AM for seamless coordination and coverage.
