Mumbai, Maharashtra, 3rd of October, 2026 : When the commitment to protecting the environment and empowering underprivileged communities translates into meaningful action, it creates a new story of change. Social entrepreneur Neetu Joshi has set an inspiring example through her dedication to these causes. In recognition of her significant contributions to environmental conservation, tree plantation and rural development, she was honoured with the prestigious National Green Pride Award.
The award was presented by the Kalpataru organisation at a national ceremony held in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The event, led by Vishnu Lamba, saw Jaipur Collector Sandesh Nayak honour Neetu Joshi in the presence of Padma Shri awardees Jagdish Parekh and Sundaram Verma.

Through the MIAM Charitable Trust, established in 2022, Neetu Joshi has been working across several key areas, including environmental conservation, education, women’s empowerment, animal welfare and rural development. One of the trust’s notable initiatives is the plantation of approximately five lakh saplings in Maharashtra’s Gadchiroli district. In addition, the trust is working to create self-employment opportunities for tribal women by providing them with training in various skills.
After spending more than two decades in the entertainment industry, Neetu Joshi has dedicated herself to social service. This recognition serves as a fresh source of inspiration for her continued efforts. She believes that family values, support and the trust of society are the true strengths that drive meaningful social service.
