Agartala, Tripura, 13th of July 2025 : Newly Appointed Cabinet Minister Kishore Barman assigned Panchayat, Higher Education, and General Administration (GA), Political.
As per the notification undersigned by Chief Secretary Jitendra Kumar Sinha and in pursuance of the provisions of Rule- 5 of the Rules of Executive Business of the Government of the State of Tripura, the Governor of Tripura has, on the advice of the Chief Minister, been pleased to allocate with immediate effect to the Minister, the business of the Government by assigning to the charge of the Minister the Departments mentioned against his name.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Kishor Barman on Thursday (3rd July, 2025) took oath as a Minister of the State Government of Tripura at Raj Bhavan, Agartala.
Kishor Barman is a member of the Tripura Legislative Assembly from 21-Nalchar Assembly constituency, which is reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC) community, in Sepahijala district. He won the 2023 Tripura Legislative Assembly election, representing the Bharatiya Janata Party.
