Agartala, Tripura, 7th of February, 2025 : In a major success, BSF troops of BOP Konaban (Sepahijala district), in a joint operation with Police, apprehended a notorious human trafficker from Radhanagar village, Madhupur PS. Acting on specific intelligence, the forces raided his residence and recovered:
1 Country-made pistol
1 Magazine
3 Live rounds
The individual is suspected to be involved in multiple cases of human trafficking and trans-border smuggling.
Additionally, in separate operations, BSF troops of Tripura Frontier seized 415 kg of Ganja and other contraband items worth ₹34.74 lakh, dealing a major blow to illegal activities along the border.
BSF remains vigilant and committed to curbing trans-border crimes and ensuring national security.
