Oath Taking Ceremony Of New Members Of South Tripura Zilla Parishad.

Belonia, Tripura, 12th of September, 2024 : “It is the responsibility of three-tier Panchayati Raj System to ensure that benefits of various government schemes reach the last person of the society. Present government is working with transparency for the welfare of people. The representatives of three-tier Panchayati Raj System also have to maintain that transparency in their work”, Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said at the oath taking ceremony of the newly elected members of South Tripura Zilla Parishad at Sachin Debbarman auditorium at Belonia on Friday (13th September, 2024).

 Addressing the representatives of Zilla Parishad the Chief Minister urged them to win faith of the people through their works. They have to give patient hearing to various woes of the masses. In context of the recent floods the chief minister said, the present government is working with a holistic policy and in contact with the central government regularly so that the necessary aid and compensation can be delivered to the affected people.

Director of panchayat department Prasun De administered the oath to 17 members of the Zilla Parishad. Afterwards the members selected from among them Dipak Datta as Sabhadhipati and Tapan Debnath as Saha Sabhadhipati. Sabhadhipati and Saha Sabhadhipati were administered oath by the secretary of panchayat department Dr. Sandeep Rathod.

Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were Hon’ble Tribal Welfare (TRP & PTG), Minorities Welfare Minister Sukla Charan Noatia, MLA Mailafru Mog, MLA Pramode Reang, MLA Swapna Majumder and DM Smitha Mol and many other dignitaries were present in the oath taking ceremony. At the programme on behalf of the Hrishyamukh Teachers Day Celebration Committee a cheque of Rs. 1 lakh was handed over to the chief minister for CM Relief Fund. Director of Panchayat Prasun De also handed over certificates to the newly appointed Sabhadhipati and Saha Sabhadhipati.
