Ampi, Tripura, 24th of June 2025. Thansa Organic Producer Company LTD has sold large quantity of organic pineapples grown in Tripura to One India Organic authority, New Delhi through the direct cooperation & management of the SIMFED under the Mission Organic Value Chain Development For North Eastern Region, phase IV. As per the report, to provide financial benefit to pineapple producers of Ampi block SIMFED who is having beneficial marketing linkage with the One India Organic authority has approached to assist Thansa Organic Producer and through collaboration with the company they have collected ripe pineapples from the area of Tuidu under Ampi Nagar block. 1200 better quality of organic queen pineapples have been exported to New Delhi to OIO authority. With the better cooperative collaboration between Thansa Organic Producer LTD and SIMFED pineapples export processing has been accomplished in railway station successfully for New Delhi. Sources said, to avail profitable benefit for local pineapple producers Thansa Organic Producer LTD has taken this innovative initiative through SIMFED.
According to farmers statement, one piece queen pineapple cost is 20 rupees in local market but farmers are gaining 30 rupees per piece through this export management. To have good financial opportunity local farmers were found enthusiastic.
Amidst the dignitaries there were Chayanika Bhowmik, project incharge of SIMFED, Nibash Debbarma, supdt. of agriculture, Ampi agri. subdivision, Pinku Debbarma, ADA, TSOFDA, SARS complex A.D Nagar, West Tripura, and many others remained present in farmers favoured initiative.
