Amarpur, Tripura, 30th of June 2026 : With the initiative of Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare Kuroiler Chicks distribution programme has been conducted here in Ompi Agri-Sub-Division superintendent office premises in Ampi nagar, Gomati Tripura on Tuesday (30th June, 2026).
On this occasion a large number of poor farmers under Ampi block have assembled here in the chicks distribution program. In presence of Ampi 23 ADC constituency MDC Kamal Kalai MLA Pathan Lal J/M has inaugurated the event.
Adressing the beneficiaries MLA said, “The agriculture department is always in promptness to provide the farmers various departmenal amenities. The departmental amenities are yours but we want your scinserity in every project implementation which is mandatory to gain your goal. The fundamental goal of the agriculture department is wellness and prosperity in every farmer family. After availing chicks or pigs from the department you must know the purpose of the amenities provided by the department. If you are indifference or mindless in implementing projects then your carelessness will generate nothing achievement.”
As per the report, 50 families under Ampi Nagar block have availed Kuroiler Chicks from the concerned department totally free of cost. Under the scheme of ATMA SA Nibash Debbarma has provided these Kuroiler Chicks to those poor families with one time feed who are very weak in family financial status. The concerned authority has conducted an awareness programme too where all essential project implementation tips have been provided to the participant farmers.
Amidst the other distinguished program participants there were Deb Sadhan Jamatia, social activist, Lampra Debbarma, veterinary officer and many others remained present in the program.
