Sonamura, Tripura, 10th of August 2025 : Sonamura police during patrolling duty at Bathadola area near Indo-Bangla Border Fence and recovered 60 kg dry cannabis (Ganja) which covered by brown colour cellotape on Tuesday (12th August, 2025) night.
According to source, during Sonamura police patrolling duty at Bathadola area near Indo-Bangla Border Fence and recovered and seized total 60 kg dry cannabis which covered brown colour cellotape, as unclaimed. Destination market value of the seized cannabis approx ₹6 lakh (six lakh). After that seized it after observing all legal formalities as unclaimed. And Sonamura police station has started an investigation as to who could be the owner of these illegal cannabis.
