
Dharmanagar, Tripura, 26th of May 2026 : In a significant administrative move aimed at enhancing transparency and strengthening law and order, the North District Police Administration has carried out a partial reshuffle across various police stations in the district. According to an official order issued from the office of the Superintendent of Police, North District, Dharmanagar, several police officers, ASIs, constables, and women constables have been transferred to different police stations.
As per the transfer order issued on May 23, a total of 17 police personnel have been assigned new responsibilities across different police stations in the district. Sources in the administration stated that the reshuffle was undertaken to improve efficiency, maintain administrative transparency, and further reinforce the law and order situation in the district.
Among the major transfers, Inspector Remulus Sangma has been shifted from Kadamtala Police Station to Panisagar Police Station. SI Manoj Kumar Paul has been transferred from Dharmanagar Police Station to Kadamtala Police Station. Similarly, SI Rajesh Das has been moved from Kanchanpur Police Station to Dharmanagar Police Station, while SI Animesh Gop has been transferred from Panisagar Police Station to Kanchanpur Police Station.
In addition, I/C ASI Nikunj Debnath has been transferred from Dharmanagar Police Station to Vangmun Police Station, while I/C ASI Kalyan Chandra Nath has been shifted from Vangmun Police Station to Dharmanagar Police Station.The transfer list also includes ASI Niranjan Malakar, Constables Dipankar Chakma, Md. Abdul Kadir, Bir Kumar Chakma, Md. Jakir Uddin, Md. Hussen Ali, Nibas Das, and several other police personnel.
Women constables Sebika Chakma, Chinmoyee Sarkar, Sabita Dey, and Lovely Shil have also been assigned new postings in different police stations.North District Superintendent of Police Abhinash Rai has issued directives to the concerned unit in-charges to release the transferred personnel immediately. The administrative reshuffle within the district police has already become a major topic of discussion within police circles.
