Agartala, Tripura, 18th of March, 2025 : Animal Resource Development Department being a project implementation unit ( PIU) of TRESP has started training on Livestock Extension Services for registered Pashu Sakhis.A total of 20 pashu sakhis will be benefited through this training programme .ARD department has organised this training under supervision of a Deputy Director ranked officer along with a committe formed by the Director Sri.Neeraj Chanchal,IFS .
Pashu sakhi training is a 20 days course on livestock extension services running by the department in 4 different modules and organising in a cascading manner .After completion of this training ,the pashu sakhis will be engaged in imparting thematic training to the producer group members at field level .
Tribal welfare Department led by Director Subhasis Das stressed on rapid implementation of the project in the Tribal areas and focusing utmost on utilizing the funds provided to each line department in a stead fast way so as make thevoperational activity much smoother day by day .
