Teliamura, 1st April, 2024 : State police and Central Armed Police Forces conducted a Flag march in Teliamura on Monday (1st April, 2024) ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. Initiatives are being taken by the police administration to complete the elections in a fair and peaceful manner.
Aiming to upcoming Lok Sabha elections, a flag march was conducted on Monday under the leadership of the Khowai District Magistrate & Collector and Superintendent of Police Officer of Khowai District. The administration has already taken steps by giving more importance to sensitive areas. The march was started from Netajinagar Motor Stand, Teliamura and passes through various routes of Teliamura town area.
“In view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the flag march is being organized with the aim to confidence among the common people and to assure the common people of administrative security ahead of the elections. Such road marches and patrolling will continue till the elections are over”, said Khowai District Superintendent of Police Dr. Ramesh Kumar Yadav.
Chandni Chandran, IAS, Khowai District Magistrate & Collector, Khowai District Superintendent of Police Dr. Ramesh Kumar Yadav, Additional SP Khowai, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Teliamura, SDPO Teliamura, other senior police officers of Teliamura Sub-division, BSF and CRPF police forces were present in this flag march.
