Khowai, 18th of December, 2023 : Khowai Subdivision Police has again achieved great success in its anti-narcotics campaign. Based on special operation Khowai PS officials has arrested a man with heroin on Monday (18th December, 2023). The police able to arrest a notorious heroin named Dipankar Das from Lalchara area Durganagar under Khowai District. The police were able to recover packets of prohibited heroin stored in a soap boxes from him. Afterwards police officers recovered, a mobile phone, five thousand five hundred and a scooty from him. Sub-Divisional Police Officer Pushan Kanti Majumdar said that he used to smuggle heroin in this scooty. An NDPS section has been registered against him.
