Teliamura, 11th of April, 2024 : The president of Khowai District Youth Congress left the party and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. A joining programme was held at Teliamura BJP Mandal office around 9 pm on Wednesday. In the meeting, 40 voters from 8 families including Youth Congress Khowai district president Biplab Saha joined the BJP. On the other hand, on Wednesday evening, meeting was held at Karailong Chowmuhani under the initiative of BJP Booth No. 35 Committee. In this meeting, quitting CPI(M) party 58 voters from 19 families joined BJP organization today through this programme. Chief Whip Of Tripura Legislative Assembly and MLA Kalyani Roy has welcomed those new comers with warm welcome and motivated them with saffron idealism.
Addressing the joining programme MLA Kalyani Roy said, people are inspired to see the people-oriented work of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas’, and the benefits of development reaching the last person of the society etc. People are realizing that there is a development at central & state and common people are joining Bharatiya Janata party every day after realizing this. She also said that there is no new or old in the party, everyone will work together for the development of the state and the country.
