Agartala, Tripura, 5th of November, 2025 : On specific information of the Government Railway Police (GRP), Railway Protection Force (RPF) secret operation was launched in Agartala Railway Station on Tuesday (4th November, 2025). According to the sources, RPF & GRP, arrested three (3) Bangladeshi and one (1) Indian Nationals touts from Agartala Railway Station.

According to sources, GRP & RPF of Agartala at about 3.30 pm on the basis of secret information caught 03 (Three) Bangladesi namely 1) Sri Pritom Sarkar (22), S/O-Sri Amborish Sarkar of Tum Char, PO-J.M. Hat, PS- Lakshmipur, Dist- Lakshmipur, Country-Bangladesh 2) Sujon Das(37) S/O- Lt. Sukronjron Das of Bancha Nagar, Word –No-5,P.O+ PS+Dist,= Lakshmipur, Country-Bangladesh 3) Sri Kanak Banik (32),S/O- Sri Sunil Banik of Devipur Sakhari Bari, P.O- Asrafganj, PS- Raipur, Dist- Lakshmipur, Country-Bangladesh and one Indian Border tout namely (4) Sri Bikram Das (39), S/O-Sri Dulal Das of School Para,Purba Nalchar, P.O-Nalchar, PS-Melaghar, Dist –Sepahijala, State-Tripura. During their interrogation they stated that they were entered into India through South District Border. Railway Police arrested them from Agartala Railway station near main gate. A specific case vide Agartala GRPS case no-2025GRP106, U/S-61(2)/249(b)/143(2) BNS, 2023 & U/S- 14(A)(b)/ 14(C) of the Foreigner Act-1946 & U/S- 03 of IPP Act ( Entry into India Amendment-2000) has registered against them.
