Agartala, Tripura, 20th November, 2025 : On specific information of the Government Railway Police (GRP), Railway Protection Force (RPF) secret operation was launched in Agartala Railway Station on Thursday (20th November, 2025). According to the sources, RPF & GRP, arrested One (1) woman drug peddlers from Agartala Railway Station and seized a total of 5.200 Kg dry cannabis (Ganja). She wanted to take it to other state by train using Agartala railway station.
According to sources, GRP & RPF of Agartala at about 3 PM to catch one woman namely Juri Boro (25), D/O- Sri Punaram Boro Of Dilai 10 Mile, Hiteswar Tulchari Boro Gaon, Dilai, Manja, Karbi Anglong in Assam. During her search we recovered one bag from his possession which containing total 5.200 Kg purported to be contraband Ganja. The value of this Ganja is Rs- 01 Lakh approx in black market. Accordingly railway police have arrested her from Agartala Railway station platform no-01 and seized the contraband Ganja. A specific case vide Agartala GRPS case no-2025GRP110, U/S-20(b)(ii)(B)/29 of NDPS Act-1985 has registered against her.
