Rakhi Bond Celebrated With A Message Of Peace, Brahma Kumari Family Stands With Journalists.

Dharmanagar, Tripura, 30th of August, 2026 : Rakhi Bandhan was celebrated in Dharmanagar with a message of brotherhood, love, mutual respect and harmony. On Friday (28th August, 2026), the Dharmanagar branch of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, located at Chandranath Lane, organized a special Rakhi Bandhan programme with members of the Dharmanagar Press Club.

The programme was attended by BK Mamoni, in-charge of the Dharmanagar branch of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, along with other members of the Brahma Kumari family. The President of the Dharmanagar Press Club and several journalists were also present.The programme began with a meditation session dedicated to the Supreme Soul in a spiritual atmosphere. Through meditation, the participants were encouraged to spend some time in self-reflection and connect with thoughts of peace and positivity.

Following the meditation,BK Mamoni applied tilak on the foreheads of the journalists and tied rakhis on their wrists. Through the Rakhi ceremony, a message was conveyed to strengthen the bond of mutual trust, respect, responsibility and harmony between journalists and society.Speaking on the occasion, BK Mamoni said that Rakhi Bandhan is not merely a festival or a formal ritual. It carries a deeper message of mutual trust, love, responsibility, cooperation and harmony. Every individual has an important role to play in establishing peace and harmony in society.She highlighted the important role played by journalists in bringing various issues before the public through their writings and news coverage and in creating public awareness. Therefore, she said, organizing Rakhi Bandhan with journalists carries special significance.The programme also

discussed the responsibility of journalists towards society, the importance of truthful and objective reporting, and the role of the media in maintaining peace and harmony. She further stated that the media is not merely a platform for delivering news but also plays an important role in creating awareness and promoting positive thinking among people from different sections of society. A better and more peaceful society can be built through mutual respect and cooperation, she added.The special Rakhi Bandhan programme was marked by an atmosphere of sincerity and harmony along with spiritual solemnity. Journalists and members of the Brahma Kumari family exchanged greetings and views with one another. Through the sacred bond of Rakhi, the participants expressed their commitment to spreading the message of brotherhood, unity, peace and harmony in society.
