Mumbai, 31st of May, 2024 : In light of the ongoing climatic challenges and resultant power outages, Reliance Jio is pleased to announce an extension of validity for its customers in the states of Meghalaya, Mizoram, and Manipur. Taking cognizance of the difficulties faced by the customers during these unprecedented times, Jio is offering a 4-day extension of validity to its customers whose subscriptions have expired and who are currently unable to recharge their accounts.

The extended validity period is effective from May 30, 2024, and will remain in place until midnight on May 31, 2024. This initiative aims to provide continuous connectivity and ensure that customers can stay in touch with their loved ones and access essential services despite the ongoing challenges. It has already benefitted lakhs of customers so far.
Moreover, as per Dept of Telecom, Govt of India, orders, Intra Circle Roaming (ICR) is also activated between all TSPs wherein customers can latch onto any Network present in the location, in case the Service provider Network is impacted due to the current weather Reliance Jio remains committed to supporting its customers during times of need. It recognizes the critical importance of staying connected, especially under these difficult circumstances, and is hopeful that this measure will offer some relief and support.
