Ampi, 25th of August, 2024 : A 2 km distance long road from Calvary School road to Rengdom Para at Tuidu under Ampinagar RD block in Gomati district has been widely collapsed in many places and it has become fully unusable for pedestrians and all kinds of vehicles now. The Kaipeng tribe dominated village Rengdom Para do not have alternative road to make communication with Taidu & Ampinagar. So, in this circumstance the local villagers are in great anxiety and distressed. As per the report, the total distance of the road is about 2 km but about 500 metres of the road does not have brick soiling also till the date. After the flood people are unable to walk on this road nor they can drive 2 wheelers to come out from the village. Students are the worst victim of this damaged road. In several places heavy tide has washed away the road. In the other hand, landslides have blocked the entre road.
One of the villager said, “We have appealed many times to renovate our road but there is no initiative till the date. At present we are confined in our village. To make suitable communication for our village we need the full distance of the road brick soiling implementation as well as carpeting. The concerned authority must visit to our Rengdom Para to investigate the woeful situation of the road and take immediate initiative to make it carpeting shortly.” The villagers said that during left administration major portion of the road was constructed with brick soiling but after many years it has been lying without maintenance. To restore the movement normal now the collapsed portions should be repaired immediately right now. The concerned authority must investigate the road and take appropriate initiative to renovate the road to provide relief the villagers from this constant road woes.
