Resumed Of Prepaid Auto Service At MBB Airport.

Prepaid Auto Service resumed at Maharaja Bir Bikram (MBB) International Airport, Agartala on Tuesday (25th April, 2023). Hon’ble Transport and Tourism, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, minister Sushanta Chowdhury attended the resumption programme of Prepaid Auto Service at MBB Airport today.

“Rules and policies to protect the interests of the people of the state It is the duty of all to strictly follow these rules and policies If there is any difficulty in this regard, the Government and the department are sincerely trying to remove it”, Hon’ble Transport and Tourism minister Sushanta Chowdhury said. The minister also said, prepaid auto service was closed for the last 6 months, restarting the prepaid auto service from Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport today.

Speaking on the occasion Hon’ble Transport and Tourism minister Sushanta Chowdhury also added that a meeting was held yesterday with the representatives of the airport area including security, transport, airport authority and auto drivers to launch this prepaid auto service. It was decided in the meeting that this service will be launched from today. The Government and the department will wholeheartedly support the auto workers in solving any kind of problems in keeping this service running but the transport minister appealed to the auto workers to ensure that this service is not stopped in any way.

Uttam Kumar Chakma, Secretary of the Transport Department delivered the welcome speech on the occasion. L Darlong, IGP (Law and Order), Subrata Chowdhury, Commissioner Transport Department also spoke on the occasion. K.C. Meena, Director of MBB Airport Authority and many other dignitaries remained present in the programme.
