Road Accident : One Of The Dead In A Head-On Collision Between Two Goods Track.

Khowai, Tripura, 23rd of May, 2025 : One of the dead in a head-on collision between two goods track at Nibaran Bari area under Khowai District on Friday (23rd May, 2025) morning. According to the incident report, the goods train NL 01AC 1406, which was leaving Agartala for Silchar at 5 am today, was stopped on the road by the goods train TR 05C 1510, which was coming from Dharmanagar to Agartala. At that time, the track going to Silchar hit the track parked on the side of the road.

Afterwards the locals immediately informed the Khowai fire brigade personnel over this occurrence. The fire service personnel, police arrived on the spot, picked up in bloody condition and brought him to Khowai District Hospital. After being brought to the hospital, the doctor on duty declared him dead. According to report, the deceased’s name is Ismail Mia (41),
