Sabroom, Tripura, 27th of December, 2024 : Sabroom police station personnel successfully recovered some lost gold ornaments along with two persons today (27th December, 2024). Sabroom police station personnel successfully recovered stolen 76.47 gram gold, 21.15 gram silver ornaments and cash ₹ 7840. On Friday morning, the priest went to the Kali temple and found the door of the Kali temple broken. Immediately the police of Sabroom police station was informed about the incident. The Sabroom police personnel rushed to the spot and upon opening the door, it was found that various gold ornaments of Daityeswari were missing.
Sabroom police have arrested two of the three involved in the daring theft at the Daityeswari Kali Temple in Sabroom, while another is currently absconding. Sub-divisional police officer (SDPO) of Sabroom Nityanand Sarkar presented detailed information to media on this matter. The Sabroom police successfully recovered some stolen Gold jewelry within 24 hours of an incident.
The names of the three persons involved in the theft incident are Sajal Nama of Namapara, Sabroom, Chentu Tripura of Ghora Kappa under Chalitachari PS in Sabroom. These two have been arrested and Jhulan Nama of Namapara area, Sabroom, police could not arrest him. Police are searching other persons who are associated with incident tendency in the area.
