Agartala, Tripura, 27th of October, 2025 : Shri Mahesh Kumar Aggarwal, IPS Special Director General (SDG), BSF Eastern Command, arrived at Tripura today for a three-day visit. He was received at the airport by the IG, BSF Tripura.
Upon his arrival at BSF HQ, SDG BSF was accorded a Guard of Honour. He was briefed by the Frontier IG BSF on operational preparedness and key strategic matters.
SDG BSF called on Shri Indrasena Reddy Nallu, Hon’ble Governor of Tripura , Shri Manik Saha, hon’ble Chief Minister of Tripura , Shri Anurag, IPS DGP Tripura and Sh J K Sinha, IAS, Chief Secretary . During the meeting the current security scenario and various issues pertaining to the state of Tripura were discussed.
As part of his itinerary, SDG BSF will visit a number of border deployed units to assess the ground situation and interact with field commanders and troops. His visit aims to reinforce operational efficiency and boost the morale of BSF personnel.
