Agartala, 9th of May, 2024 : Secretary of Agartala Press Club Ramakanta Dey’s mother Bishnu Priya Dey breathed her last today (9th May, 2024) at 7:55 pm at the cancer hospital, Agartala.
She was 71 years old. She was taken to Kolkata Tata Memorial Hospital for better treatment as the issue of cancer and there was treatment undergoing going on. It was brought to Agartala a few days ago. As the condition serious, she was admitted to Regional Cancer Hospital in Agartala. But she passed away today after failing all the efforts of the doctors. She is survived by a two son, daughter-in-law and many relatives and well-wishers. The eldest son Ramakanta Dey is out of state. He will come to the State by tomorrow afternoon flight. Then the last rites will be completed.
