Dharmanagar, Tripura, 9th of October, 2026 : A special programme titled ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ was organised in Dharmanagar of North Tripura district on Wednesday (7th October, 2026) to commemorate the glorious 25-year journey of public service of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which began with his tenure as the Chief Minister of Gujarat and continued with his leadership as the Prime Minister of India.
With the motto “Nation First” as its guiding principle, the programme highlighted his 25-year journey of public service as a remarkable chapter of sacrifice, dedication, commitment and public welfare. The journey was described not merely as a milestone in time, but as a symbol of a long-term mission dedicated to turning the dreams, aspirations and expectations of millions of Indians into reality.The leaders present at the programme stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country is moving forward with the objective of ensuring that the benefits of development reach people at the grassroots and those at the last mile, guaranteeing dignity and opportunities for every citizen, and building a developed, prosperous and self-reliant India.
The ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’, organised from the DNV Ground in Dharmanagar, was attended by Tripura government ministers Shuklacharan Noatia and Santana Chakma. Also present were Bagbassa MLA Jadablal Nath, Panisagar MLA Binay Bhushan Das, Dharmanagar MLA Jahar Chakraborty, North District Zilla Parishad Sabhadhipati Aparna Nath, Dharmanagar Municipal Council Chairperson Mitali Das Sen, BJP North District President Kajal Das, former MLA of Yubarajnagar Malina Nath, Zilla Parishad Vice-Chairperson Bhabatosh Das, along with several other party leaders, workers and supporters.The programme witnessed considerable enthusiasm and excitement among party workers and supporters.

Along with conveying the message of service, good governance and development to the general public, various aspects of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25-year journey of public service were highlighted.The speakers at the event said that several important initiatives have been undertaken under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership with the aim of taking development to the grassroots level and improving the quality of life of ordinary citizens. They said that under his leadership and vision, the resolve to build India into a strong, self-reliant and developed nation has become even stronger.Through the ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’, an initiative has been undertaken to take the message of development and public service to the people. The organisers expressed hope that the programme, which began in Dharmanagar, would not only commemorate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25-year journey of public service but also further strengthen the resolve to build a ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India) in the years ahead.
