Khowai, Tripura, 6th of October, 2026 : The SFI Khowai Divisional Committee on Tuesday (6th October, 2026) submitted a deputation at Jibananda Vidyamandir JB School, raising several student-related demands, including the immediate resolution of the shortage of teachers.
During the submission of the deputation, the school’s in-charge also expressed agreement with the demands raised by the student organisation. During discussions with the organisation, he stated that due to the shortage of teachers, Classes I and II are reportedly being conducted together, while Classes III and IV are also being held jointly.
He further stated that despite repeatedly bringing the issue of the school boundary to the attention of the higher authorities, no appropriate action has been taken so far. He also expressed concern over the condition of the school’s boundary wall.

He assured the organisation that he would take up these demands with the appropriate authorities in the coming days and take necessary steps to safeguard the interests of the students.
During the submission of the deputation, the delegation was accompanied by Divisional Secretary Sagar Paul, SFI Secretary Soumya Shubhra Banik, student leader Aritra Nandi, and other members of the organisation.
