Sharad Samman Ceremony 2025 Organized By Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC).

Agartala, Tripura, 26th of October, 2025 : With the initiative Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) organized a Sharad Samman ceremony 2025 at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan, Agartala, Tripura  on Saturday (25th October, 2025). In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp.

Addressing at the Sharad Samman ceremony Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that  in the past, clubs within the Agartala Municipal Corporation area showed little interest in social activities. However, this situation has changed under the present Government. Now, clubs are actively participating in various social welfare activities such as blood donation, cloths distribution and tree plantation event. Today, various clubs and social organizations across the state are coming forward to build a drug-free Tripura.

Highlighting the occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Saha remarked that, everyone must come forward to build a beautiful and healthy society in every part of the State, including the tribal areas. The evil tendencies within the human mind must be eradicated. Efforts from all sections are essential to strengthen the bond of brotherhood between tribal and non-tribal communities in the state. He added that to guide the development of the next generation in the right direction, it is necessary to create a peaceful, healthy, and harmonious society. He also emphasized that the present government will not tolerate any attempt to disturb the peace and order of the state.

AMC this year, 21 clubs honoured with Sharad Samman awards in various categories. Like every year, this year too, the best clubs from four (4) zones awarded the Sharad Samman in various categories. In addition, there also be a Best of the Best Award. The Chief Minister and presents guest handed over the prizes.

This year, in the Central Zone, the awarded for the Best Idol given to Surya Toran Club, the awarded for the Best Pandal (Mandap) to Netaji Play Forum Centre, the awarded for the Best Illumination to Nabadiganta Club, and the award for the Best Theme to Blood Mouth Club.

In the South Zone, the awarded for the Best Idol given to Udayman Sangha, the awarded for the Best Pandal (Mandap) to Milan Chakra Club, the awarded for the Best Illumination to Apanjan Club, and the awarded for the Best Theme to Bharat Mata Sangha.

In the East Zone, the awarded for the Best Idol given to Sphulinga Club, the award for the Best Pandal (Mandap) to Ramthakur Sangha, the awarded for the Best Illumination to Shibnagar Modern Club & Amra Tarun Dal Club, and the awarded for the Best Theme to Shatadal Sangha.

In the North Zone, the awarded for the Best Idol given to Albert Club, the award for the Best Pandal (Mandap) to Shantikami Sangha, the awarded for the Best Illumination to New Star Club, and the awarded for the Best Theme to Mahan Club.

As prizes, each winning club receiveed a beautiful trophy and a cheque of ₹25,000.

In addition, five clubs receiveed the “Best of the Best” awards in various categories. Among them, the Deshbandhu Chittaranjan Club awardeded for the Best Idol, Kunjaban Sporting Club for the Best Pandal (Mandap), Flowers Club for the Best Illumination, Cosmopolitan Club for the Best Theme, and Shibnagar Mahila Puja Committee (Women’s Puja Committee) honored as the Best Puja organized by women. Each of these clubs received a beautiful Trophy and a Cheque of ₹50,000.

Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were Hon’ble Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) Dipak Majumder, Hon’ble Deputy Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) Manika Das Datta, Hon’ble MP and Tripura Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Rajib Bhattacharjee, corporators, and many other dignitaries were present in the event.
