Shyam Sundar Co. Jewellers is presenting ‘Shubho Vivaha Utsav’ from 9th November to 16th December 2022. 

‘Shubho Vivaha Utsav’ is a celebration of the great Indian wedding that was first presented by Shyam Sundar Co Jewellers at Agartala in 2009 and, thereafter, at major housing societies and prominent clubs in Kolkata. 

There have, since, been many other editions.

The special preview, earlier this evening, at Manikya Enclave began with an audio-visual on the significance of gold and symbolism of bridal jewellery in the look and feel of the new bride and her journey ahead. 

This was followed by a dramatic presentation of the traditional Bengali wedding and its evolution to the present-day celebration – incorporating elements of the joyous occasion from other parts of India – and covering all the glitter and dazzle about marriage ceremonies and wedding wows. 

And, after building up an appetite to celebrate the great Indian wedding, the evening concluded with a traditional sit-in Bengali ‘bhoj’.
