Amarpur, Tripura, 24th of August 2025 : With the initiative of Manu Forest department a motivational skill development training programme has been organized here in Chailengta community hall in Manu block on Saturday (23rd August, 2025). As per the report, under IGDC CREFLAT Project the programme has provided fishery beneficiaries many essential technical skill development teachings over fishery project. Under the esteemed leadership of Shri S. Prabhu, IFS, CEO & PD the programme has focussed over modern scientific method of fishery management adapting advanced techniques to attain better consequence in the project.
The program’s inauguration was graced by the presence of Shri Samrat Chakma, a distinguished social activist, alongside notable dignitaries, including Shri Anurag Chakraborty, TFS, SDFO Manu; Shri Tirthankar Majumder, Senior Technical Officer, PMA; Shri Bindujoy Tripura, RO Manu; and Shri Nabajyoti Sarkar, Technical Officer, DPMA. The gathering was further enriched by the presence of senior officials from the Forest and Fishery Department, who imparted valuable expertise and insights.
