Over the past few days, there had been widespread resentment among patients and their attendants due to the shortage of drinking water at the hospital. Allegations were raised that several water dispensing machines installed in the hospital had remained out of order for a long time, causing immense hardship to everyone amid the scorching heat. The matter was prominently highlighted in the media.
Following the publication of the news reports, the hospital authorities quickly took the initiative to repair the defective drinking water machines and restore the service. A different picture was witnessed on Wednesday morning, as patients visiting the hospital were seen collecting purified drinking water.
