Sonamura, Tripura, 5th of December, 2025 : Sonamura Police arrested one Bangladeshi National on Thursday (4th December, 2025).
According to the Police, Sonamura Police Bangladeshi National (male) arrested from NC Nagar out side of offense, with 24 nos. foreign liquor. In this regards register a specific case under BNS-2023 & the Immigration & Foreigners Act-2025 & the Tripura Excise Act-1987. Name of Bangladeshi National Md Bilal Miah (20), S/O- Md Jamal Miah of Jakuni Para, Douitpur, Chowk Bazar, Comilla (Bangladesh).
Interacted with media Inspector Tapas Das, Officer in Charge Sonamura Police Station gave details about this and he also stated that such operations against illegal contrabands would continue next day.
