Sonamura, Tripura, 6th of September, 2026 : Sonamura Police arrested another suspected drug peddler on Sunday (6th September, 2026) for his alleged involvement in the illegal drug trade.
According to Sonamura Police a special police team at Sonamura Police Station is continuing to question the accused. During the interrogation, several names of individuals allegedly involved in the illegal drug trade have reportedly emerged.
Officials from the state and central intelligence agencies are currently working to verify the identities and alleged involvement of the individuals whose names have emerged during the investigation. If their involvement is established through proper evidence, they will also be brought under the purview of the law.
