Sonamura, Tripura, 7th of December, 2025 : On specific information of the Sonamura Police, in joint operations with 81th BN BSF secret operation was launched in at Sonamura on Sunday (7th December, 2025). Sonamura Police, recovered and seized total 50 no, s ESKUF with one FZS bike.
According to sources, Sonamura Police Last night recovered and seized total 50 no, s ESKUF with one FZS bike Bearing no- TR-07D-5734 from Ballerdepha near IB fence but seeing police and bsf party bike owner and bike rider absconded from this place. After that seized the said contraband and bike after observing all legal formalities.
After that conducted raid and searched owner of the said bike owner, which situated at bejimara under Sonamura PS. But found him absconded from his house, but during searched of his dwelling house, recovered and seized total Indian Cash Rs. Total 4,52,660/- ( Four Lakh Fifty Two Thousand six hundred sixty ) as the suspected cash Rs from this illegal Eskuf Cough Syrup business.
Interacted with the media, Inspector Tapas Das, Officer in Charge Sonamura Police Station said that, a case was registered against him in Sonamura police station under the NDPS section and investigation is in progress. OC also stated that such operations against illegal contrabands would continue next day.
