Sonamura, Tripura, 12th of October 2025 : Sonamura police during patrolling duty at U N C Nagar area near Indo-Bangla Border fence, recovered and seized 18.5 KG dry cannabis on Sunday (12th October, 2025). According to sources, Sonamura Police Station seized a total 18.5 KG dry cannabis. Destination market value of the seized cannabis (Ganja) approx – 1 lakhs 80 thousands. After that seized it after observing all legal formalities as unclaimed. And Sonamura police station has started an investigation as to who could be the owner of these illegal cannabis.
