Amarpur, Tripura, 2nd of November 2025 : With the initiative of ST. James Catholic church a spiritual programme named Soul Day observation 2025 has been conducted here in ST. James Catholic church in Sontang village under Ampi Nagar block in Gomati Tripura today.
On this auspicious religious occasion all the church members of ST. James Catholic Church have assembled in the church premises and organized special prayer service for those deceased church members of this church who are no more now with them. In recollection of them the concerned church members have cleaned the churchyards of those deceased members and paid homage by offering flowers to the churchyards; conducted special prayer service to almighty God, sang hymns for peace and salvation for their souls.
Senior church member Daniel Kaipeng has focussed over the credit and contribution of those church members which has brought a good fraternity and integration amidst the congregation members. In recollection of those beloved dead church members of ST. James Catholic Church has accomplished the event with spiritual attitude and dignity. The soul day observation event has showcased a genuine fellowship and love amidst the present church members.
