Mumbai, Maharashtra, 27th of June 2026 : After defeating Stage 4 cancer, actress Rozlyn Khan has demonstrated extraordinary courage once again by representing herself before the Supreme Court of India without any formal legal training. Her remarkable determination has shown that strong willpower can overcome even the toughest challenges. After nearly a decade of legal proceedings, the case has now reached its final stage, and the verdict is awaited.

Appearing before a bench comprising Justice Vikram Nath and Justice Sandeep Mehta, Rozlyn argued her case as a party-in-person despite having no formal legal education. On the opposing side was a full team of lawyers, yet she confidently presented her own arguments in Hindi. According to Rozlyn, the proceedings being conducted in Hindi helped her understand every aspect of the hearing with clarity.
The matter relates to alleged professional misconduct and has remained pending within the Bar Council system for nearly ten years. Despite numerous challenges, Rozlyn never gave up. Throughout chemotherapy, repeated hospital visits, and her recovery from cancer, she continued to appear before the court whenever required.
During the hearing, when she requested additional time to continue her submissions, Justice Vikram Nath remarked, “Hearings do not continue here after 4 p.m.” The arguments have now concluded, and the judgment has been reserved.
Reflecting on her journey, Rozlyn said, “I live life on my own terms. Whether it was cancer or the courtroom, I faced every battle head-on.” Her journey is not just a story of a legal fight but an inspiring testament to courage, resilience, self-belief, and the determination to never give up.
