State Engineers Association Conducted 55th Annual General Conference.

Agartala, Tripura, 9th February, 2025 : With the initiative of State Engineers Association conducted 55th Annual General Conference at Nazrul Kalakshetra, Agartala on Sunday (9th February, 2025). In the presence of many dignitaries Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated the 55th Annual General Conference of State Engineers Association by lighting the lamp.

“Engineers play an important role in the development and implementation of the state’s infrastructure plans. Engineers are the driving forces of development. Our state’s engineers are also not lagging behind in any way.”, Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said at the 55th Annual General Conference of State Engineers Association today. The Chief Minister said that Engineers are directly involved in the development and expansion of communication systems, infrastructure construction, irrigation, drinking water connections, and expansion of electricity services.

Addressing the gathering the Chief Minister also added that Narendra Modi has been taking steps one after another to move India forward after becoming the Prime Minister of the country. The Chief Minister mentioned the significant progress in the state’s road connectivity, improved law and order, tourism, etc. and said that tourists coming to the state from outside are overwhelmed by this tremendous development in the state.

Secretary of the Tripura State Engineers Association Engineer Satyabrata Das delivered the welcome speech on the occasion. Amidst the distinguished dignitaries of the programme there were Hon’ble Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) and MLA Dipak Majumder, and many other dignitaries were present in the event. In addition, the association provided financial assistance to Sri Aurobindo Shrima Ashram Trust and Old Age Homes Apna Ghar . The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by President of the Association Surya Kumar Debbarma.
